How is Tru Niagen®different from the other vitamin B3s?

The B3 vitamins have one thing in common: they are all building blocks cells can use to make more NAD. Nicotinic acid, nicotinamide, and nicotinamide riboside can all be turned into NAD, but cells use different recipes that require different amounts of energy and numbers of steps to make NAD out of each B3. Some B3s also come with some unwelcome side effects: nicotinic acid can cause an uncomfortable flushing response while nicotinamide can inhibit the activity of cellular health-promoting sirtuins.

How Does Tru Niagen®Work?

Tru Niagen® increases levels of a key cellular resource known as NAD. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (or NAD) is found in every living cell and is essential to a healthy cellular metabolism.
